iPads for Autism is a multi-year effort to provide iPads for use in the Tacoma School District autism classrooms, a service that experimental programs at Mary Lyon and Reed elementary schools found to be a very successful learning tool for these special needs students.
Tacoma North Rotary’s effort completed the initial project for the Tacoma School district. See the Tacoma School District story on this project on the Tacoma Public Schools website at https://www.tacomaschools.org/news/pages/rotary-donates-ipads.aspx.
